The Deterministic NDIS Enhancer (DNE) driver may still be bound to a network adapter.
From the Enable Client Autoupdate drop-down menu, enable or disable NetExtender client to check for updates every time it is launched. The Global VPN Client may fail to install if a previous installation of Safenet or GVC was not removed completely. From the Enable NetBIOS Over SSLVPN drop-down menu, enable or disable NetExtender clients to broadcast NetBIOS to the SSL VPN subnet. Run the GVC Cleaner tool to remove any instance of the DNE driver. Their solution is frustratingly "you can just use Mobile Connect". Uninstall from the Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Programs. I do see in the registry, that the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity\Enabled is set to 0, so maybe it is off and the GUI is just bugged.Įither way, the NetExtender is not working. You turn it off through the GUI, reboot as directed, but it comes back up showing that it's back on.
Sonicwall support said that there's a known issue with the latest build of Windows where you have to disable Memory Integrity under Core Isolation (Windows Settings), but on the affected PC, you can't seem to turn it off. The nxcleaner.exe tool does not help either. I cannot stop, disable or remove this service. There's a Windows service running now that I haven't see with older versions of NX. I have a new PC for a client Win 10 Pro, 20H2.Īfter reboot, NX would not start saying the installation was damaged.
